Soaked-in skin
Running rough through veins,
Torn through living,
The heart remains.
Exterior dramas read interior players
The soul proposes,
Soothing the sayers.
Limited bruising,
Masking intrusions.
Outwardly inward, seeking restraints.
Confused darkness, making light of remains.
Adopted by history
Locked tight in long tongues
The verse that lines tundra
Concealed by its burns.
Soaked-in skin
Running rough through veins,
Torn through living,
The heart remains.
Exterior dramas read interior players
The soul proposes,
Soothing the sayers.
Limited bruising,
Masking intrusions.
Outwardly inward, seeking restraints.
Confused darkness, making light of remains.
Adopted by history
Locked tight in long tongues
The verse that lines tundra
Concealed by its burns.
