All home. All clear!
So it's here already! Back home a few days now and it seems like I've never been away in some ways. 6 weeks is a long time in terms of being away from family and Sinead but in terms of being away on exposure, it really wasn't enough time. Hopefully it won't be long before some more of it can happen!
Arrived in Dublin on the 29th and spent the night there. Drove to Cork on the 30th and it was a really great feeling to be back. But today, I wasn't feeling the best still after being sick/chest infection for the last week in Manila. I had been sent to the doctor over there with people worried about malaria/dengy. So after going to my doctor today she wanted me to get checked out so I spent the day in the hospitals accident and emergency room, getting chest scans, xrays, blood tests etc. Everybody was pretty worried, besides me! I had a feeling there was no chance of malaria, but better safe thean sorry. Got the "All Clear" anyway, so all is well.
The future job situation is still in limbo a bit at the moment but Sinead has booked a holiday for us in 2 weeks time so all of that is taking a back seat until we come back, thank God!
